About the Event

After the initial excitement of establishing a new team, timings and focus often start to go astray, conflicts might arise, and some members may become distant or de-motivated.

In this workshop we will look at some of the day-to-day challenges of managing (or even being a member of) an ongoing team or research collaboration.

We will look at some of the causes of these common problems and look at a few ideas that we can use to get the group functioning well again.

By the end of the session, you will have some new ideas to apply to your existing teams and research collaborations to:

  • Get your group back on track
  • Establish effective practices to keep the group performing well
  • Re-motivate disengaged members
