Surgery: Managing Projects Remotely
Time & Location
About the Event
If Covid-19 has taught us anything, it has taught us that we need to adapt our project management styles to suit remote working - whether thats working from home or working internationally. This surgery will focus on the best tools, techniques and approaches to managing projects remotely.
The surgery will be facilitated by Professor Paul Cook (University of Leeds) and Cheryl Thomas (Project Manager, FLF Dev Net). Professor Cook will talk about the challenges and benefits of working with teams that are globally dispersed using his one of his research project as an illustration https://changingthestory.leeds.ac.uk/. Cheryl will share some of the best (and most practical) tools and techniques she has found to manage projects remotely and effectively.
