About the Event

Creative Multilingualism is a research project exploring the links between language creativity. It began a four-year project funded by the AHRC and continues to be run from the University of Oxford through TORCH (The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities). The project is conceived and delivered as an inter- and multi-disciplinary project with 7 interlocking strands that straddle research into cognition and production of language, to creative multilingual performances to texts, translation and language learning. Professor Katrin Kohl is the Primary Investigator of Creative Multilingualism. She will talk about the genesis, development and outcomes thus far of the project and its interdisciplinary work and partnerships. We will begin with a short presentation, followed by a Q&A where you will be able to ask about the interdisciplinary project model and the experience of large-scale project leadership.

Facilitated by Katrin Kohl.
