Building Inclusive Teams Toolkit
This Toolkit is designed to give you insights into various techniques, initiatives and knowledge areas that will supporting the building of teams that are inclusive. When we say team, this could be your immediate research group, perhaps the collaborations you work with or even temporary working groups that you operate in to develop short-term initiatives. Some of the resources may also apply to the wider networks you operate in such as your department, or sector discipline.
It has been developed thorough consultation with research leaders, primarily Future Leaders Fellows at various stages of their career, and their team members.
The toolkit provides information and advice on:
- How to assess and ultimately communicate the needs and values of your team
- How to map your network to gain a better understanding of it’s function and dependencies

- Understanding microaggressions and how to be an active bystander
